On August 14, Good News Ministries is hosting a summit on Pope Leo's "Magnifica Humanitas" and AI. Speakers will include:
GNM founder Terry Modica, who will cover the whole encyclical and, in light of this, what Catholics need to know about AI.
Matthew Harvey Sanders, founder of "Magisterium AI", will discuss: What are the most important things we can do as Catholics to ensure AI and robots are developed to support human flourishing instead of impeding it?
Stephanie Quesnelle, a data analyst with connections to a frontier artificial intelligence research lab and author of "Created, Not Coded", the first Catholic children's picture book about AI. She'll talk about the family culture especially in regards to: What are we building?”
John-Clark Levin, will discuss the nature and implications of artificial general intelligence (AGI).
