Last week, I shared and analyzed surveys that show that more young men than women are now turning to organized religion. I pointed out that Catholicism, with its rituals and definitive teachings on matters of faith and morals, is very appealing to many of them. And surprisingly, it's the young men who are leading this revival. Now we will hear the story of one very faith-filled young man. He answers the questions:

1. What in Catholicism has been failing to evangelize today's young adults? And why is this important?
2. How did he retain the faith of his childhood, unlike other young adults who grew up as Catholics?

Meet Will Deatherage

Will Deatherage is a young entrepreneur who founded Catholics for Hire, an ever-growing team of Catholic digital marketing professionals and consultants. He has a vibrant passion for the Faith. I interviewed him for my podcast show to ask him, “How did you avoid the traps of lies and evil that have ensnared so many of our young adults?”

Here comes a faithbolt. One important point he makes in the interview is: "Many are leaving the faith. And, growing up in a good Catholic household, I ask myself, why exactly is that the case? What I’ve found to be the most common answer was that a lot of young people just aren’t attracted to the way that Catholicism is presented to them. We have all these incredible advanced media avenues that we could be using to evangelize: videos, podcasts, websites, etc. But the Church in many ways has been pretty behind in those avenues."
